Neural speech denoising and adaptive spectral noise reduction take out fans, hum, traffic and keyboard clicks. Voice polish and a steady −18 LUFS do the rest.

The details
Small things, done properly.
-
Fans, hum, traffic, keys
Neural speech denoising works with adaptive spectral noise reduction to take out fans, hum, traffic and keyboard clicks.
-
A studio shape for your voice
Voice polish cuts rumble, eases boxiness, lifts presence and softens harsh ‘s’ sounds, using studio EQ, de-essing and compression.
-
One steady −18 LUFS
Even out volume measures the whole file and sets it to −18 LUFS in one steady step, with peaks kept under −1.5 dB.
-
Flip before and after
Preview the entire recording and switch between Original and Cleaned at any moment while it plays.
-
Video in, video out
Drop a MOV, MP4, MKV or WebM and only the sound is processed. The picture is copied exactly, in the same format.

FAQ
Questions about Clean Up Audio
Anything else? Email support@mightybench.com and a person will reply.
How do I remove background noise from a recording on a Mac?
Open Clean Up Audio, drop the file in and play it, flipping between Original and Cleaned. When it sounds right, press Clean Up and the cleaned copy lands in a new dated folder in Downloads › MightyBench.
Can it get rid of hum and fan noise?
Yes. Neural speech denoising plus adaptive spectral noise reduction takes out fans, hum, traffic and keyboard clicks. Try Strong for a noisier room.
Can I clean up the sound in a video?
Yes. Drop a MOV, MP4, MKV or WebM file. Only the sound is processed; the picture is copied exactly, and you get the video back in the same format.
What does Even out volume do?
It measures the whole file and sets it to −18 LUFS in one steady step, with peaks under −1.5 dB, so recordings end up at a consistent level.
Does Clean Up Audio need FFmpeg?
It does. MightyBench installs FFmpeg through Homebrew in one click, or you can point it to a copy you already have. The cleaning itself happens on your Mac.
Is my recording uploaded for processing?
No. Denoising, Voice polish and volume levelling all run on your Mac. There’s no account and nothing leaves the machine.
