How it works
Three steps, start to finish.
-
01
Open Remove Password
Press ⌃⌥Space and type “unlock pdf”, or pick it from MightyBench’s menu bar icon.
-
02
Drop PDFs, enter the password
Add one locked PDF or several that share a password. Type it once in the Password field and the whole batch uses it.
-
03
Press Remove Password
Unlocked copies land in a new dated folder in Downloads › MightyBench. If the password didn’t match a file, you’re told which one; locked originals stay put.
The details
Small things, done properly.
-
One entry for the batch
Type the password once and it’s used for every file you dropped in, so PDFs that share a password unlock together.
-
Know which file failed
If the password doesn’t match a file, MightyBench names exactly which one, and you can still keep the copies that worked.
-
No guessing, no cracking
There’s no guessing and no cracking here. You need the password that opens the file, because the tool is for your own documents.
-
Opens without a prompt
The saved copy has no password, so it opens straight away in Preview or any other PDF reader.
