How it works

Three steps, start to finish.

  1. 01

    Open Extract Pages

Press ⌃⌥Space and type “extract pages”, or pick it from MightyBench’s menu bar icon.

  2. 02

    Choose the pages to keep

Drop in a PDF, then click the pages you want or type them in the Pages field, like 2, 5–8. Select All and Select None are a click away.

  3. 03

Press Save PDF for a new file

A PDF holding only those pages, in their original order, lands in a new dated folder in Downloads › MightyBench. The full document stays as it was.

The details

Small things, done properly.

  • Type pages like 2, 5–8

Skip the clicking on long documents: type single pages and ranges into the Pages field, separated by commas.

  • Original order, always

Pick pages that aren’t next to each other and they still appear in their original order in the new PDF.

  • Text stays searchable

Extracted pages keep their text sharp and searchable, so you can still search the new PDF for a word.

  • The original stays whole

Extract Pages copies pages out. The source PDF keeps every page; use Delete Pages when you want some gone.

  • No copy on anyone’s server

Extraction happens on your Mac with Apple’s PDFKit. No upload and no account, so a confidential page stays confidential.

  • Sign or lock it next

Send to next tool passes the new PDF to Sign PDF or Add Password, so a few pages can be signed or locked straight away.

Can I extract pages that aren’t next to each other?

Yes. Pick any pages, such as 2 and 5–8. They’re saved in their original order in one new PDF.

Will the text in extracted pages still be searchable?

Yes. Text stays sharp and searchable, just as it was in the original document.
