Terms
Terms, without the legalese.
These terms cover buying and using MightyBench and this website. We’ve kept them short and plain. If anything is unclear, email us.

Your licence
Buying MightyBench gives you a licence to use the app on one Mac, for your own work, personal or professional. It doesn’t expire and there is no subscription.
Need it on more than one Mac, or for a team? Email support@mightybench.com and tell us what you need.
The app itself, its design and its name remain ours. Please don’t resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer it.
Price and updates
MightyBench is a one-time purchase for one Mac. Your licence includes all 49 tools and every MightyBench 1.x update. There is no subscription and there are no in-app purchases.
The founder price of $39 applies to the first 100 buyers. After that, the price is $49.
Refunds
If MightyBench isn’t right for you, email support@mightybench.com within 14 days of buying and we’ll refund you in full.
Using the tools responsibly
You are responsible for the files you process and for how you use the results.
Download Video: only download content you own or have permission to save, and respect each site’s terms and copyright law.
Remove Password: use it only on documents you have the right to unlock. It never guesses or cracks passwords.
Sign PDF places an image of your signature on the page. It is not a cryptographic certificate, so check that this is acceptable for your document.
Open-source software
Some tools use FFmpeg, and Download Video also uses yt-dlp. MightyBench installs them through Homebrew when you ask it to, or uses copies you point it to. They are separate open-source projects, provided by their authors under their own licences, and are not part of MightyBench.
Features that depend on macOS
Some tools rely on features of macOS, such as Apple Intelligence, speech recognition and translation languages. Whether they are available can depend on your Mac, your language and your region, and is decided by Apple.
Our promise, and its limits
We work hard to make MightyBench reliable, and it is designed never to change your originals. Still, all software can have bugs, so MightyBench is provided as it is, without guarantees beyond those the law requires.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
This website
The information on this site describes the app as accurately as we can, but features can change between versions. Please don’t misuse the site or try to disrupt it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Changes never take away anything you have already paid for.
