How it works

Three steps, start to finish.

  1. 01

    Open Merge PDFs

Press ⌃⌥Space and type “merge pdf”, or pick it from MightyBench’s menu bar icon.

  2. 02

Add PDFs, then set the order

Drop two or more PDFs or a folder; folders are added in Finder name order. Drag cards or use Move Earlier / Later, and change File name from Merged if you like.

  3. 03

    Press Merge PDFs

One PDF with every page, in card order, lands in a new dated folder in Downloads › MightyBench. The files you started with are left as they were.

The details

Small things, done properly.

  • Whole folders in one drop

Drop a folder and its PDFs are added in Finder name order. You can still drag any card to a new spot before you merge.

  • Drag, or Move Earlier / Later

Put the cards in sequence by dragging, or nudge one with Move Earlier and Move Later. Pages follow the order of the cards exactly.

  • No size cap, no watermark

Merge long reports and heavy scans alike. There’s no size cap, and nothing is stamped on your pages.

  • Merges with Wi-Fi off

Built on Apple’s PDFKit, Merge PDFs runs entirely on your Mac, so contracts and statements never pass through a server.

  • Hand it to the next tool

Send to next tool passes the merged PDF straight to Compress PDF or Add Password, without hunting through Downloads.

FAQ

Questions about Merge PDFs

Anything else? Email support@mightybench.com and a person will reply.

How do I merge PDFs on a Mac?

Open Merge PDFs, drop the files in and drag the cards into order. Press Merge PDFs and one combined PDF appears in a new dated folder in Downloads › MightyBench.

Can I merge a whole folder of PDFs at once?

Yes. Drop the folder in and every PDF inside it joins the list in Finder name order. Reorder any card before you press Merge PDFs.

Is there a file size limit?

No. There’s no size cap and no watermark, because the merge happens on your Mac rather than on someone else’s server.

Will merging change my original PDFs?

No. MightyBench writes a new file and leaves the originals where they were. The result is staged first, then published to a fresh dated folder when the merge finishes.

Are my documents uploaded anywhere?

No. There’s no account and no cloud. Merge PDFs reads and writes files on your Mac only, so nothing leaves the machine.

Plus forty-eight other tools.
