FAQ
Questions about Convert Audio
Anything else? Email support@mightybench.com and a person will reply.
How do I convert WAV to MP3 on a Mac?
Open Convert Audio, drop the WAV files in, choose MP3 and a bitrate, then press Convert. The MP3s keep their names and land in a new dated folder in Downloads › MightyBench.
Can it open OGG and Opus files?
Yes. OGG and Opus, the kind of files chat apps and recorders produce, open alongside MP3, M4A, WAV, AIFF and FLAC.
Which audio format should I choose?
MP3 if it has to play anywhere, M4A for Apple devices, WAV or AIFF for editing, and FLAC for lossless archives.
Can I convert different formats in one batch?
Yes. Drop WAV, FLAC, OGG and M4A files together and they all convert to your chosen format in one go, each named after its original.
Will converting change my original files?
No. Your source files stay where they are. Converted copies are published to a fresh dated folder once the batch finishes, and if a file fails you can keep the rest.
